AllTrails has misguided us one too many times. From exaggerated reviews to straight up fearmongering - when we first got into hiking, it wasn't always easy. Now, after >10 years of experience hiking in the coldest temps, deepest snow, and most remote mountains, we're done letting some worrywart or volunteer DEC representative tell us what to do. We trust our own experience above all else, because we've learned time and time again that public info is no longer good info. About Us
Even as kids, we were always drawn to the outdoors. Our families have deep roots in New York, and our parents always took us back to where our ancestors used to enjoy vacations and hiking in the Adirondacks. What started as a couple kids in the woods has turned into high intensity winter mountaineering. We've climbed mountains all over the United States and even one in the Swiss Alps as well.WE ARE 46ERS!!!
